1. What is EVLT?

Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT) is a minimally invasive laser procedure in which a thin optical fiber is introduced into the diseased vein under ultrasound guidance. Laser energy is delivered along the vein, causing controlled thermal injury to the vessel wall.
