What is the difference between 2140nm holmium laser and 980nm 1470nm diode laser? The wavelength The wavelengths of the holmium laser was about 2140 nm and its penetration depth was 0.5 mm in prostate tissue. The diode lasers, the normally used wavelengths include 940, 980, or 1470 nm, and different wavelengths have different penetration depths.
